Our Approach to Partnerships
In Sports Acrobatics, the formation of partnerships is a professional process. There is an extensive range of variables that our coaches consider when facilitating these changes to ensure every gymnast is set up for success.
What do coaches consider when forming partnerships?
Our coaches evaluate a wide range of factors, including: age, height, size, top and base skills, flexibility, strength, walkover and agility proficiency, tumbling ability, attendance, commitment, work ethic, attitude, and competitive performance. We also evaluate acrobatic and competition trends, sporting rules, aesthetics, compatibility, dance and ballet skills, parental support, and teamwork.
These represent only a fraction of the considerations involved. Our ultimate goal is to balance the needs of individual gymnasts across all squads to ensure strong, future-proof partnerships that provide the best possible fit for the club and its members.
Squad Expectations & Join the Squad
Joining the squad is a significant commitment. Success is built on consistency, discipline, and a dedication to the partnership.
Squad places are selection-based. Our coaching team continually monitors all gymnasts to identify those who demonstrate the technical ability, partnership potential, and drive required for our competitive squads.
Membership & Fees
Monthly squad fees are collected automatically through our payment system. As part of our commitment to the programme, one month’s notice is required if a gymnast wishes to leave the squad.
